Al aceptar los términos y condiciones, se acepta la política de privacidad, que forma parte integra de estos.
Para LA TERMINAL S.A es muy importante proteger la información de nuestros clientes y visitantes. Este documento contiene nuestra política general de tratamiento de información y datos personales, y tiene como fin comunicar e informar qué información recolectamos y para qué finalidades, cómo la usamos, cuándo la compartimos y cómo la protegemos, así como los derechos que le asisten a los titulares de la información y los procedimientos para ejercerlos.

La prestación de nuestros servicios no está condicionada a la entrega de esta información sensible. Según ley 8968 “LEY DE PROTECCION DE LA PERSONA FRENTE AL TRATAMIENTO DE SUS DATOS PERSONALES”, en cuando al apartado inmerso en dicha ley que trata sobre DATOS SENSIBLES.
Todas las bases de datos de LA TERMINAL S.A están almacenadas en un servidor de Windows Server 2012, solo para efectos de almacenamiento, seguridad y control. LA TERMINAL S.A solo utiliza la información de clientes para trasmitirla a los proveedores de los servicios contratados por el USUARIO y no para cederla o comercializarla a terceros no relacionados con estos servicios.
La información suministrada permanecerá almacenada por el término máximo necesario para permitirnos el cumplimiento de las obligaciones legales y/o contractuales a nuestro cargo especialmente en materia contable, contractual, fiscal y tributaria o para atender las disposiciones aplicables a los aspectos administrativos, contables, fiscales, jurídicos e históricos de la información.
Presumimos la veracidad de la información suministrada y no verificamos, ni asumimos la obligación de verificar la veracidad, vigencia, suficiencia y autenticidad de los datos que nos sean proporcionados. Por tanto, no asumimos responsabilidad por daños y/o perjuicios de toda naturaleza que pudieran tener origen en la falta de veracidad, vigencia, suficiencia o autenticidad de la información, incluyendo daños y perjuicios que puedan deberse a la homonimia o a la suplantación de la identidad. Si nos suministra información personal sobre una persona distinta a usted, como su cónyuge o un compañero de trabajo, entendemos que cuenta con la autorización de dicha persona para suministrarnos sus datos.

Al aceptar esta Política de Privacidad, los titulares de los datos recolectados, autorizan que realicemos el tratamiento de los mismos, de forma parcial o total, incluyendo la recolección, almacenamiento, grabación, uso, circulación, procesamiento, supresión, transmisión y/o transferencia a terceros (empresas autobuseras) de los datos suministrados, para la ejecución de las actividades relacionadas con los servicios y productos adquiridos, tales como, procesar, confirmar, cumplir y proveer los servicios y/o productos adquiridos, directamente y/o con la participación de terceros proveedores de productos o servicios así como para promocionar y publicitar nuestras actividades, productos y servicios, realizar transacciones, efectuar reportes a las distintas autoridades administrativas de control y vigilancia nacionales, autoridades de policía o autoridades judiciales, entidades bancarias y/o compañías aseguradoras, para fines administrativos internos y/o comerciales tales como, investigación de mercados, auditorías, reportes contables, análisis estadísticos, realización de la reserva, modificaciones, cancelaciones y cambios de itinerario, reembolsos, atención de consultas, quejas y reclamos, facturación de tiquetes aéreos y de otros productos y servicios, pago de compensaciones e indemnizaciones, registros contables, correspondencia, procesamiento y verificación de tarjetas de crédito, débito y otros instrumentos de pago, identificación de fraudes y prevención de lavado de activos y de otras actividades delictivas y demás finalidades indicadas en este documento, entre otros.
En razón de nuestra actividad, estamos obligados a suministrar una serie de datos de los pasajeros a las autoridades que regulan el transporte público terrestre, antes de la salida de los buses o en la llegada en cada ciudad de destino o en cualquier momento después de ejecutado el contrato de transporte. Por regla general, la información se refiere a los datos de identidad de los pasajeros que viajan a bordo así como los contenidos en sus respectivos documentos de viaje (cédula nacional, cedula residencia, o pasaporte) o en relación con las mercancías transportadas.
Adicionalmente, nuestros viajeros, clientes y USUARIOS, en su calidad de titulares de los datos recolectados, al aceptar esta política de privacidad, nos autorizan para:
El envío y la remisión de datos que se realice por el USUARIO a través de la WWW.LATERMINALCOSTARICA.COM.. o la información que LA TERMINAL S.A recolecte y haga tratamiento, se encuentra protegida por técnicas de seguridad electrónica en la red. Asimismo los datos suministrados y almacenados en nuestras bases de datos se encuentran igualmente protegidos por sistemas de seguridad que impiden el acceso de terceros no autorizados a los mismos. LA TERMINAL S.A realiza sus mejores esfuerzos para disponer de los procedimientos más actualizados para la eficacia de los sistemas de seguridad. En este sentido, nos apoyamos en herramientas tecnológicas de seguridad e implementamos prácticas de seguridad reconocidas en la industria, que incluyen: transmisión y almacenamiento de información sensible a través de mecanismos seguros, tales como cifrado, uso de protocolos seguros; aseguramiento de componentes tecnológicos, restricción de acceso a la información sólo a personal autorizado, respaldo de información, prácticas de desarrollo seguro de software, entre otros.
Tenemos establecidos políticas, procedimientos y estándares de seguridad de la información, cuyo objetivo es proteger y preservar la integridad, confidencialidad y disponibilidad de la información, independientemente del medio o formato donde se encuentre, de su ubicación temporal o permanente o de la forma en que ésta sea transmitida.
- DERECHOS DE LOS USUARIOS Y PROCEDIMIENTOSCon la aceptación de los Términos y Condiciones de los cuales hace parte integral esta Política de Privacidad, usted manifiesta libre, expresa y previamente haber sido informado sobre los derechos que la ley le concede como titular de sus datos personales y que se enuncian a continuación:
Los procedimientos para el ejercicio de sus derechos serán los siguientes:
(i)Consultas
Los titulares las personas autorizadas o causahabientes podrán consultar su información personal que repose en nuestras bases de datos, caso en el cual les suministraremos la información solicitada, previa verificación de la legitimación para presentar dicha solicitud. La consulta será atendida en un término máximo de diez (10) días hábiles contados a partir de la fecha de recibo de la misma. Cuando no fuere posible atender la consulta dentro de dicho término, se le informarán los motivos de la demora, señalando la fecha en que se atenderá su consulta, la cual en ningún caso podrá superar los cinco (5) días hábiles siguientes al vencimiento del primer término.
(ii)Cancelación
Para cancelar, cambiar o pedir una devolución de tu tiquete debes comunicarte directamente con servicio al cliente de La Terminal, al Call Center +506 27701356, al WhatsApp +506 71472276 o al Email laterminalqr@gmail.com. La aprobación de solicitud de cancelación, cambio o devolución estará sujeta a las politicas internas de cada operadores de transporte.
(iii)Reclamos
Si los titulares, las personas autorizadas o los causahabientes consideran que la información contenida en una base de datos debe ser objeto de corrección, actualización o supresión, o cuando adviertan el presunto incumplimiento de cualquiera de los deberes contenidos en la Regulación, podrán presentar un reclamo ante nosotros, el cual será tramitado bajo las siguientes reglas:
1. Su reclamo deberá formularse mediante solicitud dirigida a LA TERMINAL S.A, con su identificación, la descripción de los hechos que dan lugar al reclamo, su dirección, y acompañando los documentos que se quiera hacer valer. Si el reclamo resulta incompleto, lo requeriremos dentro de los cinco (5) días siguientes a la recepción del reclamo para que subsane las fallas. Transcurridos un (1) meses desde la fecha del requerimiento, sin que usted presente la información requerida, entenderemos que ha desistido del reclamo. En caso de que no seamos competentes para resolver su reclamo, dará traslado a quien corresponda en un término máximo de dos (2) días hábiles y le informará oportunamente.
2. De ser procedente, una vez recibido el reclamo completo, se incluirá en la base de datos una leyenda que diga "reclamo en trámite" y el motivo del mismo, en un término no mayor a dos (2) días hábiles. Dicha leyenda deberá mantenerse hasta que el reclamo sea decidido.
3. El término máximo para atender el reclamo será de treinta (30) días contados a partir del día siguiente a la fecha de su recibo. Cuando no fuere posible atender el reclamo dentro de dicho término, se le informarán los motivos de la demora y la fecha en que se atenderá su reclamo, la cual en ningún caso podrá superar los ocho (8) días hábiles siguientes al vencimiento del primer término.

La utilización por el USUARIO de los servicios contenidos en la web WWW.LATERMINALCOSTARICA.COM. Implica la ACEPTACIÓN EXPRESA de todas y cada una de las siguientes condiciones generales:
ADULTO MAYOR - Es el descuento asignado a viajes mayores a 25 kilómetros para adultos de 65 años o mayores según la Ley Integral para la persona Adulta Mayor 7935, aplicables todo el año, a la persona que se acredite con su respectiva cédula de identidad, por lo que el tiquete físico o digital deberá expedirse al nombre de la persona que aparece en la cedula de identidad sin excepción alguna, y se le solicitará al momento de abordar. De lo contrario se le solicitará el pago restante por el monto de su boleto en la ventanilla de la empresa autobusera que le brinda el servicio.
En todos los tiquetes de abordar físicos o digitales adquiridos con descuento el cliente deberá portar la identificación que le acredite el descuento, al momento de abordar la unidad, durante el viaje y al término del mismo. (Credencial Ciudadano de Oro o Cédula de Identidad).

Interbus offers private Shuttle Transportation throughout Costa Rica. Reservations are required for every service, and the service is operated only from hotel to hotel.
The reservation must specify names and number of passengers, date of service, as well as pick up and drop off places.
Pick up and drop off places must always be hotels. Customers without reservations will not be allowed to board the shuttles even if there is space available.
Fare ChangesThe price of service appears on the itinerary for each service requested.
This price is the one-way fare for the segment shown on the service(s) (including tax).
If a customer wants or needs to change a segment with a different time, date or routing from that shown on your itinerary, and if the customer under the modification policies is allowed and this new segment has a different price than the original segment shown on your itinerary, an additional charge or refund may be made by our trip representatives.

Interbus will strive to carry you and your luggage with reasonable dispatch, but times shown on the itinerary or elsewhere are not guaranteed and form no part of this contract.

Interbus is not responsible or liable for failure to make connections or to operate any shuttle service according to schedule, nor is Interbus responsible for any change to the schedule of any shuttle service.
Under no circumstance shall Interbus be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages arising from the foregoing.
Luggage LiabilityInterbus? liability for loss or damage of checked or transferred luggage is limited to the actual value of the luggage or $600.00, whichever is less. If the passenger declares a higher value, Interbus will not cover more than the sum of $600.00. Responsibility for loss or damage by Interbus must be proven for this policy to take effect.
Interbus assumes no responsibility for loss, damage of transferred luggage not acceptable for transportation by Interbus as checked luggage, items damaged as a result of items contained in checked or transferred luggage, and items accepted by Interbus pursuant to the execution of a release form.
Interbus assumes no liability for any luggage loss or damage.
Interbus assumes no liability for articles carried in the passenger cabin.
Interbus assumes no liability for minor damage such as scratches, scuffs, stains, dents, cuts and dirt resulting from normal wear and tear.
Interbus is not responsible for damage to contents if the outside of the hard-sided case is not damaged.
Interbus assumes no responsibility for damage to or loss of protruding luggage parts such as wheels, straps, pockets, pull handles, hanger hooks or other items attached to the luggage.
Interbus assumes no liability for any indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive or special damages resulting from loss, damages for lost revenue or profits, loss of use or business interruption.
General Acceptance of LuggageGeneral Acceptance of Luggage Only luggage as defined in the definition section will be accepted for transportation.
All luggage is subject to inspection.
Checked luggage will be accepted for transportation only on shuttle service on which you are traveling.
Interbus will not accept luggage whose size, weight, or characteristics makes it unsuitable for Transportation on the minivan as determined by Interbus.
Other than exceptions for certain special items, no article will be accepted as luggage if it weighs more than 70pounds/32kgs or has a total outside linear dimension (length plus width plus height) of more than 62inches/157cm.
Additional restrictions apply to some Interbus services.
Free Luggage Allowance For each passenger, the following pieces will be carried free of charge: One checked piece with total outside dimensions not exceeding 62 inches/157cm each. Checked luggage may weigh 72pound/32kgrs.
This luggage piece will be tagged and placed in the luggage compartment.
One carry-on item with total outside dimensions not exceeding 45 inches/114cm. Carry-on luggage may weigh up to 40pound/18kgrs.The carry-on item must stay with the passenger at all times.
Interbus will not assume liability for loss or damage to carry-on items left unsupervised by the passenger. This includes carry-on items incorrectly stored within the luggage area of the bus.
Interbus will not assume liability for any personal belongings left in our vehicles.
Manual wheelchairs without assistance devices will be carried free of charge for qualified handicapped passengers. (Our buses? structures are not able to transport wheelchairs or any other kind of power chair).
Extra charges apply to additional, non-oversize and/or non-overweight pieces.

Acceptance of childrenAccompanied: Children under 12 years of age will be accepted for transportation when accompanied by a passenger of at least 18 years of age.
Unaccompanied: Unaccompanied children under 12 years of age will not be accepted under any circumstances. Unaccompanied teenagers over 12 years of age will be accepted and considered an adult not as a child.
Teenagers will travel under their parent?s responsibility and Interbus assume no liability.
RefundsGeneral Refunds, if you decide not to use the service, and unless the ticket specifies otherwise, Interbus will issue a refund as follows:
If the itinerary is totally unused, the full amount paid will be refunded. However, an administrative service charge or refund penalty up to the full amount paid may be assessed if applicable. This is according to the cancellation policies.
If the itinerary is partially used, the refund will be the difference between the fare paid and the fare for the transportation actually used as determined by the applicable rules.
Services purchased with a credit card will be refunded only as a credit to the credit card account.
Interbus assumes no liability for any special, incidental, or consequential damages for instances in which we do not meet our goals for processing refunds.
Services purchased with a prepaid method will be refunded only to the purchaser, and an administrative service charge will be applied.
Our Customer Support representative will ask the purchaser about the best way to make the refund.
Once travel has commenced, refund requests for lower fares will not be honored.
Interbus will strive to process eligible refunds in the time frames set out below, upon receipt of all required information.

If you had paid with a credit card, refunds will be provided within 10 business days of receipt of the required refund information.
The credit card refund may take up to two billing cycles before appearing on a credit card statement, so you should contact your credit card company directly to verify receipt of the credit.
Flexipass package are not refundable. For further information please, see Flexipass section.
Refund for credit card purchases will be made only to the credit card account.
Involuntary Refunds In the event a refund is required because of Interbus? failure to operate on schedule or refusal to transport, the following refund will be made directly to you.
If the ticket is totally unused, the full amount paid (with no service charge or refund penalty) will be refunded. If the ticket is partially used, the applicable fare for the unused segment(s) will be refunded.
Period of ValidityUnless your ticket indicates otherwise, tickets are valid only for service shown in your itinerary for the segment, date and hour printed in the itinerary.
Tickets are valid for travel only when used in accordance with all terms and conditions of sale.
Terms and conditions of saleTerms and conditions of sale include but are not limited to:
The passenger?s itinerary, as stated on the ticket or in the passenger?s reservation record, unless a ticket is rebooked by Interbus or an authorized agent upon payment of applicable charges, or an authorized representative of Interbus waives applicable restrictions in writing, a ticket is invalid:
If used for travel to a destination other than that specified on the ticket; if the passenger does not meet the purpose or status requirement associated with the fare category on the ticket; or If Interbus determines that the ticket has been purchased or used in a manner designed to circumvent applicable fare rules.
When a ticket is invalidated as the result of the passenger?s non-compliance with any term or condition of sale, Interbus has the right in its sole discretion to:
Cancel any remaining portion of the passenger?s itinerary, refuse to board the passenger or check the passenger?s luggage, or refund the passenger for the reasonable remaining value of the ticket, which shall be no less than the difference between the fare actually paid and the lowest fare applicable to the passenger?s actual itinerary.
ClaimsLoss: In the case of delay or loss, an initial complaint must be presented to the carrier prior to leaving the arrival airport for which the luggage was checked or should have been checked. At the latest, such initial report must be made within four hours of the arrival of the flight on which the passenger traveled. If compensation is sought for a delay or loss, a written claim, in the form provided by the carrier, must be received by the carrier no later than forty-five days after the initial report was presented and recorded by the carrier. In case of lost or damaged luggage, contact Interbus directly.

Assistive DevicesUnfortunately, Interbus is not able to accept motorized and non-motorized assistance devices for transport. We are able to accept manual wheelchairs, which we will disassemble and reassemble for customers when they travel. We do not provide wheelchairs to our customers.
Boarding AssistanceIf you have special needs, upon request, pre-boarding assistance will be provided to you, allowing you the opportunity to be seated prior to general boarding or pre-reserve a specially located seat.
Therapeutic OxygenInterbus does not provide onboard therapeutic oxygen.
AnimalsAt Interbus, customers with disabilities accompanied by a service animal are welcome.
< The service animal is the responsibility of its owner and must be under the control of its owner at all times (i.e., leash, harness or carrier). The service animal must ride in the minivan within the customer?s space. Service animals may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat.
Interbus reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers, Interbus personnel or contractors.
DelaysInterbus minivan trip representatives will provide customers aboard an affected minivan with timely and frequent updates regarding known delays. Your representative will strive to provide the best available information concerning the duration of delays and to the extent available, the service?s anticipated departure time.
We are not responsible for any special, incidental or consequential damages if we do not meet this commitment.
Interbus assumes no liability if the delay was caused by force majeure events, and we do not get you to your final destination on the expected arrival time.
